About The Staff

Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. Your comfort is our staff’s first concern. All of our staff members have been together for over ten years, some of them over twenty. As a Chicago dental office in the same location of over 30 years we offer the best in consistent painless dentistry.  Our staff is excited about what they are doing, have high standards of quality and integrity, and are motivated to achieve the best results for our family of patients. All of our dental assistants and hygienists are dedicated professionals with many hours of training.

The Crew

Mickey

Mickey is our office manager & senior receptionist. She is also Dr. Malitz’s wife. Filling in when needed twenty five years ago sealed her fate. She became an invaluable fixture to the office, keeping everybody happy & organized. She does a remarkable job of managing patient appointments, financial records & staffing. Some patients primarily come to the office to visit with Mickey, their dental appointment becomes secondary to socializing with Mickey. The staff looks to Mickey as a big sister or non-judgemental surrogate mother to confide their secrets. But undoubtably, her biggest joy in life is our four grandchildren.

Lorraine

Lorraine is the senior member of our staff. She is our full time hygienist & prides herself in treating the “whole person”, not just their teeth. Attending many classes in the medical side of dentistry, she keeps the office up to date with the current state of how dental hygiene affects your general health. She is married with three children. Presently she has mastered non surgical gum treatment utilizing state of the art laser therapy.

May

May is Dr. Malitz’s main assistant. She is experienced in all phases of dentistry & has recently specialized in laser whitening. May is gentle & caring, making your treatment as comfortable & efficient as possible. Most patients look forward to May’s gentle touch when assisting Dr. M place crowns or take impressions. She is married with two teen age children.  Bea, her oldest helps out in the office when needed

Gosia

Gosia (or Maggie as she is also called), has worked off and on for our office for the past thirteen years. She is experienced in all phases of dentistry and is a valued member of the team. Gosia is currently attending college, working on a degree in physical therapy, while filling in for us when needed.

Brett

Brett is the youngest member of our staff. He is Mickey’s assistant receptionist & our oldest grandchild. Brett works some Saturdays & many patients encourage him to ask for a pay raise. He is 12 years old & is a game show expert & has acted in several theatrical productions.

Bea

Keeping It In The Family May’s daughter Bea has been helping Mickey with statements & computer stuff. She is a freshman at Oakton Community College.
